Abstract: | In the light of current Citizenship initiatives, Barbara Pavey explores post‐16 Citizenship teaching and learning with particular reference to helping young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to use their democratic right to vote. She concludes that these potential voters could be effectively disenfranchised by the lack of attention paid to this area. |
