试论统一战线在构建社会主义和谐社会中的作用

构建社会主义和谐社会，是中国共产党从全面建设小康社会、开创中国特色社会主义事业新局面的全局出发提出的一项重大任务。统一战线在中国革命和建设中占有重要的战略地位，是建设社会主义和谐社会的重要法宝．统一战线应该把促进和谐社会建设作为自己义不容辞的职责，通过发挥自身的优势和作用，为构建社会主义和谐社会作出积极贡献。

Functions of United Front in Constructing Socialist harmonious Society

To construct socialist harmonious society is a crucial task for the Communist Party of China to proceed from the situation taken as a whole to totally build a well-to-do society and to create Chinese socialist cause. United front is a magic weapon to build socialist harmonious society with its strategic position in Chinese revolution and construction.
