| Abstract: | The characteristics of digital information and the factors affecting its long-term preservation and application are analyzed in this paper. Subsequently, detailed techniques for the long-term preservation are presented, including the protection of storing substance, the maintenance and improvement of essential technical conditions, and the safeguard of information contents. |
