现阶段扬州市民生事业建设举措评析

扬州市委市政府在改善民生问题上取得了引人瞩目的成绩,但仍存在民生状况与经济发展之间不够协调的方面,主要表现为居民收入慢、生活质量低、贫富差距拉大等问题.提出了增强扬州市民生事业持续发展的政策建议,即发展经济、重点解决好教育、就业、收入分配、社会保障和公共卫生等重大问题、把民生事业建设列为衡量各级政府职能转变的一个重要考核指标.

A Comment on Measures Taken in the Construction of Livelihood Cause in Yangzhou

While great achievements have been made by the Yangzhou Municipal Party Committee and the city government, inharmonious aspects still exist between city residents' livelihood status and economic develop-ment. Problems such as low income of residents, poor quality of life, gap between rich and poor axe still to be solved. Policy suggestions for sustainable development of Yangzhou livelihood focusing on economic develop-ment, education, employment, income distribution, social security and public health are proposed in this pa-per. It is also suggested that construction of livelihood cause should be listed as an indicator for performance appraisal in government function transformation at all levels.
