| Abstract: | Lexical cohesion plays an essential role in discourse development and is closely connected with the quality of English writing.This essay introduces the related theory on it and demonstrates how lexical cohesion of each kind works in developing sentences and dis courses.The latter part of this essay deals with the solution on how to improve English writing of higher vocational students. |
