计算机翻译医学材料效果的研究

在国际交流日益频繁的今天,从医人员需要快速处理大量的外文医学资料或向西方传播自己的医学研究成果,而传统人工翻译很难满足大家的需求。同时,网络的普及使人们开始重视计算机翻译系统的开发和应用。该研究利用问卷调查了解了从医人员使用计算机翻译医学材料的情况和发现的主要问题,对各种医学材料进行了在线英汉互译,分析译文,找出计算机翻译的优缺点,提出计算机翻译的适用情况和通过译前准备和译后编辑来提高译文质量。

On Computer Translation of Medical Materials

With the increase international exchanges,medical workers need to deal with a large quantity of English medical materials or to spread their medical achievements to their foreign colleagues.Traditional translation by translators can’t meet such a requirement;on the other hand,with the popularization of internet and the arrival of the information age,people begin to pay more attention to the development and application of the computer translation.Our study first made a questionnaire survey among medical workers to see their use of Computer translation and the problems they find.Then we tried online translation of medical materials either from Chinese to English or the opposite.By comparing these translations with Reference translations we aimed to find the advantages and disadvantage of computer translation,find the applicable area for computer translation,and the way to improve the quality of.computer translation.
