Culture Awareness in Junior English Textbook and the Way of Cultivating

Culture and language are closely interrelated.To teach a language is to teach a kind of culture as well.Only by efficiently combining both teachings can we achieve good effects and help students acquire intercultural communication ability.This paper investigates the way of cultivating junior students’culture awareness in order to develop their comprehensive ability to use the English language through digging out the contents covering culture awareness in different junior English textbooks.
