Abstract: | This paper analyses one of Oscar Wilde’s fairy tales The Nightinggale and the Rose translated by Lin Huiyin from the angle of Dynamic Equivalence theory.Equivalence can be functional equivalence,semantic equivalence,structure equivalence.First,it explains the theoretical meaning of Dynamic Equivalence put forward by Eugene A.Nida in 1964 year;Then,it is interpretation of the original text and the analysis of the translating version from the three aspects in syntactic structure equivalence including English hypotaxis and Chinese parataxis in discourse;rhetoric style equivalence inluding simile,personification and dynamic equivalence of translation strategy: domestica tion and foreignization. |
