| 摘 要： | 在19世纪末20世纪初美国出现了一场旨在解决城市问题的城市美化运动。城市美化运动的出现与城市人口的增加、环境的恶化、贫民窟的涌现、腐败现象严重等密切相关。运动导致了美国城市空间结构发生变化,并对中心城市面貌的改变产生了积极影响,基本实现了美化城市的目标。
