| Abstract: | The core of intelligence is thinking. Students' thinking ability could be enhanced only by the teacher's inspiration. This article deals with the author's preliminary attempt to foster and enhance students' thinking ability through the elicitation method in his chemistry teaching work at junior middle schools. |
