12世纪初,女真兴起,灭辽和北宋,并迫使高丽朝贡称臣,在东亚大陆构建起以金为中心的国际政治新秩序。东亚局势的转向促使国家实力凋落的南宋朝廷不得不调整对高丽政策,逐步放弃了对高丽的主动外交,不仅对高丽主动示好的外交行为不再热心,还多次拒绝高丽的入贡请求。一种防范的、封闭的、保守的高丽政策开始形成,并主导了之后百余年的宋、丽外交实践。

From "Coalition" to "Rejection": The Change of the Policy to Korea in the Early Period of South Song Dynasty

At the beginning of the 12th century,Jurchen emerged,who eliminated Liao state and North Song dynasty,forced Korea to tribute and be its subject,thus constructed a new political international order taken Jin state as the center in the East Asia Continent.The change of the situation of the East Asia impelled the royal government of the South Song Dynasty,whose state strength had declined,to adjust its policy to Korea as gradually giving up active diplomatic relations with him,not more showing enthusiasm with him,still rejecting the ask of him to tribute many times.Thus a kind of guard and close diplomatic policy to Korea started to form and lasted for more than one hundred years.
