图式理论与大学英语听力教学

摘    要:传统的大学英语听力课课堂教学中存在以考试为导向、缺乏相关的理论指导、忽视学生的认知能力等问题,运用图式理论,从听前、听中以及听后三个方面采取“自下而上”处理信息等措施,可以对这个问题的解决有所裨益。

Abstract:The teaching of listening has long been the headache for most college students as well as the focus of ELT in China. However, the traditional listening classroom seems to have failed to help most of the college students become effective and successful listeners both in and out of the classroom. Despite the large amount of time devoted to listening every day, it turns out to be of low efficiency. This article tries to provide some insights into the problems confronted by both teachers and students in the traditional listening classroom, and based on the Schema Theory, puts forward some suggestions for the improvement of the listening teaching of college English.
