澳大利亚教育体系概述

对澳大利亚的教育体系，作了简要的介绍，以便我们学习和借鉴，也为进一步开展教育的国际合作提供参考。澳大利亚分6个州和2个特区，约2023万人，通用语言为英语。各州教育实行自治管理。全国在校学生给330万，公产学校占2／3。中学前教育13年（包括学前1年），中学后分职业技术教育和高等教育。州和领地政府对教育和培训机构进行资格审核、注册与管理，也为这些机构提供所需资金。联邦政府为高等教育提供拨款，通过国家基金来改善和提高教育质量，并负责国际之间的教育联络。
