建立在农业经济基础之上的农耕化，虽然创造了灿烂的农业明，但随着工业明的出现，其消极面日渐显现，并成为西部大开发乃至社会主义市场经济和现代化建设进程中的阻抗因素。因此，只有站在知识经济的高度来神视农耕化，才能看清其负面效应，冲破其思想束缚，加快西部大开发的步伐。

Agricultural Civilization:The Non- economical Obstructions to the Western Development in China

Agricultural civilization, which is based on the agricultural economy, had once reached its superiority in history. But the negative factors of it have become obstructions to the Western Development, to the Socialist-Market Economy and even to the course of modernization. So to study it in the view of knowledge economy, we can understand the negative factors better, and work out realistic solutions to our existing problems, and bring out a successful implementation of the Western Development.
