摘    要:本文从英语学习者在词汇学习中出现的问题入手,以语言学相关理论为指导,特别是通过对比分析以及词义习得过程的探讨,提出了词汇教学是英语教学的重要组成部分,以及加强对学生进行社会文化背景知识讲解的必要性。

Abstract:The article proposes some common problems in learning English vocabulary. In the light of relevant linguistic theory especially the contrastive analysis between Chinese and English vocabulary, and the process in vocabulary acquisition, try to conclude that teaching vocabulary is very important in teaching English and teachers should explain more about the background knowledge of the vocabulary.
