摘    要:“以教师为中心”的传统的课堂教学存在许多弊病,达不到新形势对外语教学的要求。欲使学生学得主动,课堂教学必须尽力体现以学生为主体。另一方面,还要正确处理教师、教材与学生的关系,以利于充分调动学生的积极性,激活课堂气氛,提高教学成效。

Abstract:The traditional classroom English teaching which centers around teachers has quite a few drawbacks and is not able to meet the demands of the new situation for English teaching. In order to make students study English actively, English teaching must center round students. On the other hand, the relations among teachers and books and students must be treated well. In this way, students' studying zeal can be aroused mostly, classroom atmosphere activated, teaching results improved.
