| 摘 要： | 报刊英语中使用借代与提喻两种修辞手法,可以更好地突出其新闻特征,更加促使语言生动形象,更加引起读者的兴趣和联想。本文通过对报刊英语中借代与提喻两种普通而特别的现象进行归类分析,力求将其联想特质和表现特点理清,为深刻理解含义和恰当转换翻译提供佐证。

| Abstract: | Metonymy and synecdoche are often used in News English.In this way,the news characteristic is more distinct,the news language is more vivid and expressive,and the readers are more apt to produce interests and imagination.Through categorizing and analyzing the phenomenon of these two common and specific figures of speech,the thesis tries to make clear their quality of imagination and expression in order to give a hand to deep understanding and proper translation of them. |
