浅谈威廉·福克纳在中国

1934年福克纳的名字就进入了中国 ,但对他真正的译介是从新时期开始的 ,其间经历了四个阶段。新时期以前 ,社会环境、政治因素对福克纳在中国接受的影响较大 ;新时期以来 ,文学自身的因素诸如作品翻译和外国研究理论的引进则起了至为重要的作用 ,这也反映出我们的福克纳研究还未成熟

A Brief Talk on William Faulkner in China

Although Faulkner was first known in China in 1934, the translation and research of Faulkner's works really began in 1979 and has undergone four stages. Before 1979, Faulkner was introduced to Chinese for social and political reasons rather than literary ones, but after that translations of and introduction of related foreign researches on his works played the key role. This also reflects that our research on Faulkner is still halfway.
