| Abstract: | From 2009,California began to promote digital textbooks in public schools by Free Digital Textbook Initiative,which is the first such statewide effort.The initiative has attracted widespread attention and argument.Through this event,this article overview the status of digital textbooks in US public schools and conclude that the digital future is not quite on the horizon in most classrooms because of shortage of technical equipment for all students either for US or for China. |
