| Abstract: | The religion is a kind of cultural phenomenon. Idioms have a close relationship with culture; therefore, they can fully reflect the religious influence on language. Religious culture has greatly enriched the con- notation of English idioms, and made it more lively and vivid, and full of wit and humor. Religious culture plays a very important role on the emergence and development of English idioms. |
