民国时期中国斐陶斐励学会考述

摘    要:中国斐陶斐励学会是18世纪70年代以来美国创建的大学荣誉学会的中国构型,因契合当时学术救国的需要,在20世纪20年代引入中国后就得到各高校的积极响应。在内外交困的社会环境中,中国斐陶斐励学会虽然因民族矛盾和国内矛盾的双重交织而跌宕起伏,但在敦品励学、奖进学术、共谋社会进步的组织文化下,以董事会、全国大会、高校分会为基本组织架构,以《中国斐陶斐励学会章程》及其附则为根本制度遵循,逐步发展为高级学术人才聚集的阵地,书写了中国学术共同体建设史上的华彩篇章。

Abstract:The Chinese Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society was the Chinese configuration of the University Honor Society founded in the United States since the 1870s.Because it met the needs of academic salvation at that time,it had received positive responses from various universities after it was introduced to China in the 1920s.In the social environment of internal and external difficulties,although the Chinese Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society has its ups and downs due to the double interweaving of national and domestic contradictions,under the organizational culture of encouraging learning,awarding academic,and conspiring social progress,with the basic organizational structure of the board of directors,the National Conference and University Branches,and the Constitution of the Chinese Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society and its supplementary regulations as the fundamental institutional guidelines,it has gradually developed into a place for the gathering of senior academic talents,writing a colorful chapter in the history of the construction of Chinese academic community.
