科学发展观，是新世纪新阶段指导我国发展的根本观点和方法，是我们党的发展理论的新概括和新发展，是由一系列相互联系的基本观点所构成的科学思想和理论体系，这个理论体系涉及发展目的、协调发展、可持续发展和和平发展等基本问题。发展目的就是为谁发展的问题，协调发展、可持续发展回答发展的方法和途径，和平发展解决发展的目标取向。

On Several Basic Issues about the Outlook of Scientific Development

Being composed of a series of co-related scientific thoughts and theories,the outlook of scientific development is a progress of CPC's theories about development and a guideline for the social development of China in the new century.Such a theoretical system mainly concerns with such basic issues as the purposes of development,the coordinating development,the sustainable development and peaceful development,which the author thinks that such questions as for whom should China develop,what are the ways for China to develop and what is the goal of China's development.
