邹秉文高等农业教育思想研究

邹秉文为我国近代高等农业教育的发展做出了重要贡献,他认为高等农业教育肩负着农业振兴的使命,主张克服传统高等农业教育的弊端,注重实地调查,造就适合中国国情的高端农业人才;结合实际发展需要,加强农业科学研究以改良农业;借鉴美国高校农业推广的先进经验,进行内容丰富、形式多样的农业推广工作。邹秉文高等农业教育思想及其实践在一定程度上挽救了农村危机,同时开创了中国大学发展的新局面。

The Study of ZOU Bing - wens Thought on Higher Agricultural Education

ZOU Bing - wen made great contribution to the development of modem Chinese higher agricultural education. Aceording to his idea, higher agricultural education undertook the mission of promoting agricuiture. In order to cultivate higher agricultural talents suited to Chinese national condition paying attention to field investigation while overcoming the disadvantages in traditional higher , he insisted on agricultural education. Combined with actual developing needs, he strengthened research on agricultural science to improve agriculture. Learning from advanced experience of agricultural extension by American universities, he did a lot extension work rich in content and form. ZOU Bing -wen＇s higher agricultural education thought and practice saved rural crisis to some extent and initiated a new developing situation for Chinese universities.
