| 摘 要： | 委婉语作为英语的一种修辞手法，形式多样，内容丰富。本从体委婉语人手，通过大量实例，综述了其在不同历史时期的使用情况，同时剖析了体委婉语积极和消极的双重特性．结论认为：体委婉语随着社会的发展而不断丰富和多样化，正确理解和把握其用法和内涵具有重要意义．

With many examples,the article summarizes its uses in different periods, analyses its active and passive features. The author thinks euphemism will become ample and varied with the social development, the understanding of its uses and connotation is of great significance. |
