| 摘 要： | 由于东西方的种种文化差异而造成了在英、汉两种语言互译时的词汇空缺现象(包括语词空缺和词义空缺),这就要求译者在翻译是不但要注重语言,更要注重语言所负载的文化,并采取相应的策略方法来进行处理,使译文自然、贴切而传神.

| Abstract: | Word lacunas caused by the differences between the Occidental and the Oriental culture are frequent occurrences in translation between English and Chinese.Therefore,a translator should pay attention to both the language and the cultural information they carry,and take some effective strategies in dealing with word lacunas in English-Chinese or Chinese-English translation. |
