20世纪中国社会人道主义思潮的历史命运

人道主义思潮随着中国现代化运动的兴起而出现在中国的历史舞台上,大致贯穿了此后20世纪中国的思想史。从“五四”时期对人道主义的宣扬,到20年代末期人道主义思潮在主流文论中开始失势,以至在其后的几十年中被当作革命思想的对立物受到批判和责难,再到80年代初,尤其是90年代以来人性、人道主义的价值被重新发现并在学术界形成广泛的共识,人性、人道主义经历了由肯定、否定到否定之否定的曲折历程。人道主义思潮在20世纪中国社会的历史命运,折射了中国革命和建设的曲折历程。

The Historical Destiny of the Trend of Humanitarianism in the Chinese Society in the Twentieth Century

Humanism appeared on the Chinese historical stage with the New Culture Movements and is present throughout the ideological history of the 20th century. Strong efforts were made in the May Forth movement to spread the idea of humanism. Toward the latter part of the century it began to decline in the dominant publications, and even became the target of criticism as the opposite of revolutionary thoughts in the following decades. In the 80s and especially in the 90s, humanism was rediscovered and started to become part of widely accepted idea in academic circles.
