| 摘 要： | 美汉两种语言中都普遍存在着大量的禁忌语,由于文化背景、思维习惯和价值观念的不同,禁忌语的内容和形式也有所不同.通过从语音、死亡、称谓、隐私等方面分析英汉两种语言中禁忌语的共同点和不同点,并探究其不同的社会风俗和文化内涵,能深刻地了解中西方禁忌语的异同,从而能够更好的进行跨文化交流.

A Contrastive Analysis of Taboos between English and Chinese |

| Abstract: | Too many taboos universally exist both in English and Chinese. However, different cultural backgrounds, habits of thoughts and values will bring in the different contents and forms of taboos. This paper compares the similarities and differences of taboos between English and Chinese, and studies the different social customs and cultural connotations. Meanwhile, the similarities and differences of taboos between Chinese and English can be deeply understood by the readers, which can promote the realization of cross--cultural communication. |
