切语述论

切语长期流传于民间 ,主要流传于盲人之中。它是一种秘密口语 ,其方法是将每个汉字的声母、韵母拆开 ,按一定规律分别再加上韵母和声母 ,由一个音节变成两个音节、用反切的方法来说。切语有顺说、倒说之别。顺说流传极广 ,倒说知之者甚少 ,是一种独特的社会口语现象。切语产生的年代、流传的时间和分布的地区 ,还有待于进一步研究。它传播过程中的盛衰 ,反映出深刻的社会原因。

INPURITY OF JARGON

Jargon has spread among the people over a long period of time, primarily among blind persons. It is a secret colloquial language with consonant and vowels being separated and a syllable being changed into two syllables by adding vowels and consonants according to certain rules. Jargon can be spoken in either serial or reverse order. The rise and fall of its spreading process reflects profound social causes.
