| Abstract: | From the perspective of linguistics, teachers should conduct reading teaching not only from the part of vocabulary and syntax, but also from the part of discourse. By applying the theory and method of discourse analysis to the teaching practice of eoUege English reading, teachers can help the students culti- vate discourse competence, eliminate the reading barriers and strengthen their reading ability. |
