| Abstract: | In the observation of the spirit of universities from the angle of theories on modernity, our efforts should be focused on such aspects as individuality, academic nature and responsibility. The crisis concerning the modernity of universities can be overcome by adopting the concepts of equity and. tolerance, innovation and surpassing, autonomy and academic freedom. Only by doing so, can we carry forward the perpetual nature of university spirit and further develop new functions of universities. |
