试论王墅传奇《拜针楼》的艺术成就

清代戏剧家王墅的传奇<拜针楼>,孙楷第先生在<小说戏曲提要>中对它评价很高,认为它是清人制曲高出明人的典范.但<拜针楼>在戏剧史上未得到应有的重视.此文作者试从情节安排、结构制形、人物塑造上体味戏剧家的匠心,以使<拜针楼>这块戏剧史上的璞玉得到越来越多研究者的认可.

A Preliminary Discussion of the Artistic Achievement of the Romance "Needle Worship Tower"

"Needle Worship Tower" written by WANG Shu, one of the most famous Dramatist in the Qing Dynasty won the highest positive appraisal of Mr. SUN Kai-di in his "Synopsis of the Novels and Dramas". It was considered as one of the apotheosis created by the artists in the Qing Dynasty, which was much better than that done by people in the Ming Dynasty. However, "Needle Worship Tower" never gained any recognition of the contemporaries of dramatists in the Ming Dynasty. The author attempts to appreciates the craftsmanship of the playwright in terms of the arrangement of the plots, structure of the play, and dramatis personae. The purpose of the study is to fuel the interest and recognition of more and more scholars of drama research.
