| Abstract: | Lin Yutang's translation of Six Chapters of a Floating Life is the best English version which embodies his remarkable capability as a master of literature,culture,and language.In Lin's version,the translations of"smile"embody the connotation of gender,conciseness and culture,perfectly maintain the style of the original version and display Lin Yutang's superb translation techniques and cultural accomplishment. |
