| Abstract: | Three categories of issues are discussed from the perspective of the historic geography,the pass management system and the extensions of pass by retracing the studies of strategic passes since the founding of PRC.The future research sphere is provided by combining historical backgrounds with the remarks on the merits and faults of the former studies. |
