晚清善会善堂向近代慈善组织的转型

善会善堂这种慈善组织自明末清初诞生，自此迅速发展，但依然归属于传统慈善组织。直到晚清，随着中国社会由传统向近代转变，加上西方慈善组织和各种社会思潮等一系列内外因素的影响，传统善会善堂在运转模式、社会功能、慈善理念、慈善内容等方面出现了新的特点，开始向近代慈善组织转型。

The Transformation of Charitable Houses to Modern Charitable Organizations in the Late Qing Dynasty

Charitable organizations, such as charitable associations and charitable houses, came into being in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, and have experienced rapid development since then. However, they still belonged to traditional charitable organizations. Along with the modernization of traditional Chinese society, together with the influences from western charitable organizations and diverse social climates, traditional charitable houses began to display new features in terms of operation pattern, social function, charitable concepts and services. It is at that time that the traditional charitable houses in China began to transform to modern charitable organizations.
