| 摘 要： | 英语有许多方言变体，美国英语便是其中之一。美国英语曾长期受到英国英语的影响并处处模仿英国英语。但是20世纪初尤其是第二次世界大战以来，这种情形发生了重大变化，美国英语得以迅速发展并成为世界英语的主导。
