| Abstract: | Gu Zhi's Explanatory Notes to Zhong Jishi's Shipin is among the earliest complete explanatory notes to Shipin and it is still praised as the best in textual research. This paper makes a summary of the book's achievements and defects and particularly points out its merits and demerits in textual research.It can be seen from the summary that this book is not worthy of its reputation as the best in textual research . |
