| 摘 要： | 全文从自然现象出发，引出“自然物是否具有目的”这一长期以来争论不休的学术问题。文章简述了目的论的起源及其含义，探讨了目的论的四个发展阶段：朴素性目的论、神学性目的论、机械性目的论、有机性目的论。此外，作者对目的论发展过程的实际意义也进行了阐述。
