By applying the thoughts of value engineering to,the management of privately-run universities , the author has analyzed and summarized several aspects of how to promote the function of privately -run universities. Privately-run universities are affected by operating considerations as seen through the mechanisms of business management. Other considerations include departmental growth and welfare which has taken the form of cost superiority. Privately-run universities are affected by the characteristics of the specialties it offers. It has taken form of product superiority, by trying to satisfy the demands and talents required by the developing economic sectors worldwide, and by adopting an aim-concentration strategy which has led to market superiority.
