文学与文化之间的联系千丝万缕。当社会文化发生变革时,文学与文化总表现为双向运动:一方面,文化变革对文学产生重大影响,文学出现相应变化;另一方面,文学又担任着重要精神职责,成为文化变革的重要力量。正是这种关系,造就了 20世纪40年代中外、古今、雅俗文化的综合,80年代精英文化和90年代大众文化的出现。

The Close Relation Between Literature and Culture

Literature is closely related to culture. In the course of the innovation of social culture, there exists an inter-direction movement between literature and culture. On the one hand, cultural innovation exerts an important effect on literature, causing corresponding changes in literature; on the other hand, literature, as an important spiritual function, becomes a vital power in cultural innovation. Because of this relation, the integration of external and internal, ancient and modern, elegant and common cultures in the 1940s is formed, and elite culture in the 1980s and pop culture in the 1990s come into being.
