评《我的第一本彩图汉英词典》便于学习者的编排设计

我国已出版的汉英词典大多数是为本国读者学习或翻译用的,为外国学习者编的汉英词典较为缺乏,为数不多的几部或不太适合初学者用,或仍有不完善之处。在世界性的汉语学习热兴起的形势下,这一领域需要拓展耕耘的余地较大。《我的第一本彩图汉英词典》根据《HSK词汇等级大纲》的要求,选释常用字1000个、常用词5000个,词性标注、释义、组词编排都较有条理,词位的结构呈示清晰,但是其图示与所释字词之间的关系不够清楚,应该吸收有关词典的做法加以改进。

A Review on the Reader-friendly Design of 'A Chinese-English Dictionary with Colour Illustrations'

Most Chinese-English dictionaries published are compiled to meet Chinese readers＇ demand of study or translation.There are just a few Chinese-English dictionaries compiled for foreign learners up till now.Yet,they are either not suitable for beginners,or far from perfect.So,there is much more to do in the field.＇A Chinese-English Dictionary with Color Illustrations＇ is based on the requirement of HSK,and involves one thousand popular Chinese characters and five thousand Chinese common words selected from HSK.It is well organized in arranging the marks of speech parts,the definitions,word formation of compounds,and presents the lexemic structures clearly.However,its illustrations are not selected and arranged properly though the dictionary is named for its color illustration,which should be improved by adopting some good methods of other well-compiled dictionaries published.
