听说法在高职酒管专业酒店英语教学中的适用性分析

高职高专英语教学改革和酒店行业对酒管专业毕业生英语实际需求迫切要求提高学生的英语听说技能。这就要求在教学实践中要寻求能有效提高学生听说能力的方法。该文从高职酒管专业学生的实际英语水平和酒店行业对毕业生要求达到的英语水平综合分析,认为听说法是教授酒店英语的适宜有效的方法。

The Analysis of the Suitability of Applying the Audio-lingual Method to Hotel English Teaching of Hotel Management Majors in Higher Vocational College

To improve English listening and speaking skills of higher vocational college students is urgently demanded by both English teaching reform of higher vocational education and hotels which require hotel management graduates of higher vocational colleges have good oral English.So it needs to probe an efficient method of improving students’English listening and speaking level in teaching.The author analyzes the English level of higher vocational college students when they entered the colleges and the level demanded by hotels for hotel management graduates,and proves that the Audio-lingual Method is the suitable and efficient method of teaching hotel English for hotel management students of higher vocational college.
