当代法语句法变异浅析

变异性是语言的一个基本特征且涉及各个层面。同诸多语言一样当代法语在使用中也出现了不规范、变异的现象,尤其体现在句法层面上。历史句法学在对(形态)句法演变的研究中指出,重新分析和扩展是导致句法演变的两个基本机制:前者改变一个句法模式的底层结构但不涉及其表层形式的任何直接或内在的改变;后者改变一个句法模式的表层形式但不涉及其底层结构直接或内在的改变。两者互为补充、交替作用。该文借用这两个机制对当代法语语言出现一些不规范、变异的句法现象作出尝试性解释。

A Brief Analysis of Syntactic Variation in Modern French

Language in its nature features variation that involves multiple levels of representations.Modern French like many other languages is characteristic of irregularity at all levels,wherein syntactic variations exhibit prominence.Reanalysis and extension,as are held in the perspective of historical syntax studies,are two fundamental working mechanisms complementary to each other and in alternating operation that account for syntactic change.The former changes the underlying structure of a syntactic pattern involving no immediate or intrinsic modification of its surface manifestation;the latter in contrast operates on syntax by generalising a rule.This paper applies the two mechanisms to explore their structures and offers an explanatory attempt.
