| 摘 要： | 严复的文化观被当作近代中国知识分子由先进到落后、由学习西方转向回归传统的典型,认为严复＂早期进步,晚年保守＂的观点似成定论。本文对严复独具特色而又一以贯之的中西文化观进行梳理和分析,并对其在中国文化近代化进程中的艰苦探索及文化选择进行历史的考察。

| Abstract: | Yanfu's cultural outlook has long been thought to be a traditional model for the modern Chinese intellectuals from the advanced part to the backward,from learning from the West back to the traditional learning.Yanfu's early progress,late conservative seems true.This paper,by analyzing Yanfu's unique view of Chinese and Western Culture and History,attempts to carry out historical exploration for its hard efforts to Chinese culture modernism. |
