| Abstract: | This paper aims to discuss the following issues: 1) the number of tone categories for Minnan Dialect in Hainan;2) their distinctive tone pitches;and 3) the geographical distribution of various tone categories.By means of first-hand data,the author of this paper has elaborated on the abovementioned three issues and has roughly attained some idea of the tone features of Minnan Dialect in Hainan and their distribution. |
