On the Memes in Language Interculture

In the process of promoting and developing intercul- tural communication, memeties as a new theory explaining cul- tural progress and development, is of great theoretical and practi- cal values. The meme is a relative notion with the gene, and the language is one of its important carriers. From the perspective of memetics, the language itself is a kind of meme, and the meme develops and spreads as a carr/er. This paper analyzes the meme phenomenon of languages in intercultural communications from the perspective of memetics.
