提高生源质量建设一流的美术学院

原中央工艺美术学院加盟清华大学后，积极按照学校建设一流大学的总体规划思想，认真研究和分析当今世界科学技术日新月异，教育、科技、经济一体化发展的趋势下，艺术人才培养的模式和类型，提出了必须培养厚基础、宽口径、强能力、高素质、创新型的优秀艺术人才，才能适应和满足社会对人才的新要求，才是创建一流美术学院的根本保证。为实现这一培养目标，作为国内著名的美术院校，近年来，为提高生源的综合质量，美术学院进行了大胆的探索和实践，尤其是率先在全国范围内创建生源基地实验学校以及采取的一系列相应措施，已取得了可喜的成效，但仍有许多工作需要我们继续探索和研究。今后，我们将继续勇于创新，脚踏实地，为实现建设一流美术学院的目标而努力奋斗。

Building Up a First-Class Art Academy by Improving Students'''' Qualities

Nowadays science and technology develop quickly and education, technology and economy have become integrated. Accordingly, we must cultivate good artistic personnel with high quality, so as to meet the demand of society. We think this is the basic requirement of building a good art school. In order to realize this aim, our school, as one of the famous artistic schools in China, has a sequence of research and practice to improve the enrolling students' qualities. Some experimental schools have been set up for the enrolling students all over the country, which have gained considerable achievements. But there is still some work to be done. In the future, we will continue to innovate and strive for the aim of building up a first-class art academy.
