试论考试管理的功能

考试管理是管理者为实现既定的考试目的与目标,依据一定的管理理念,运用恰当的程序、手段及行为规范,对人、财、物、信息等进行有效控制的管理活动过程。它作为管理科学中的重要组成部分,具有管理的一般功能;作为考试科学中的重要组成部分,又具有区别于其他管理活动的特有功能;在其特有功能中,又可以根据作用的不同,划分为直接功能和间接功能。

On the Functions of Testing Management

Testing management is the whole process of a social activity in which the testing ad- minstrators effectively control the use of human resources,financial resources,material resources and information by resorting to the management theories and apporiate procedures and methods.As a form of management,testing management has all the necessary functions of management?;meanwhile,as a component of testing science,it has got some special functions which differentiate it from other kinds of management activities.Those funtions can be divided into both direct and indirect ones.
