| 摘 要： | 比喻作为一种常用的修辞方式，汉语和英语有其共性，然而由于地域、国俗、物质、宗教以及历史文化上两民族存在着差异，造成了喻体选择的差异。翻译比喻时应遵循等效原则，运用多种方法正确处理英汉文化间差异。

| Abstract: | Chinese vehicles have much in common with English ones,while the differences of the two peoples in geography,customs,religion and history contribute to the different choice of vehicles. The principles of equivalence should be applied to the translation of the vehicles so as to bridge the cultural gaps. |
