高职院校英语课的定位思考

摘    要:目前部分高职院校对英语教学的认识水平还停留在"为开而开"的层面上,存在对英语教学探讨不多、研究不够、定位不明,课程开设效果不好的情况。通过对高职院校英语课现状的分析,提出高职英语课的开设应该从高职的实际出发,从学校自身的特点出发,突出实效性,以国家大学英语等级考试为目标,把英语课定位在强基础、重应用,重点培养学生阅读能力的目标上。
