| 摘 要： | 从目前电大使用的“开放英语”系列教材的特点和民族地区英语教学现状出发，结合自己多年的实践教学经验，对民族地区电大开放英语教学进行初步探讨。文章指出，加强教学基础设施建设，加大教学技术支持服务力度；转变观念，积极培养自主学习的习惯和责任；采用面授辅导和在线学习相整合，帮助学生学会自主学习；充分利用网络开展各种教学活动是提高民族地区开放英语教学水平的有效手段。
